Jack Lloyd is a landscape photographer based in the north west of England and has been taking photographs for over ten years and creating Photo-Graphic Collages for sale and commission purposes for the past five years.
He regularly displays and exhibits his unique work at his gallery in Manchester U.K.
"Jack's work is 'destination based' and attempts to record and true narrative of the landscape he is photographing which leads to intricate and original digital manipulations".
Fiona Bailey - photographer
Jack says - "although I digitally manipulate my photos I keep true to what the subject is that I'm photographing and only use the contents of the photos I have taken to create the collages rather than introducing any personal 'illustration'. The shapes, patterns, textures, tones, writings, graffiti and signs are all captured within the area that each collage is portraying and then composed to create a picture that I and hopefully others will find pleasing."
"I have included a set of still photos from my collection as I find them to be a complimentary side-order to the main collage work and offer an insightful window into the real world from where the collages are derived from. Some are funny, some are sad and some just look nice."
